Betting markets differ by format — knowing the difference makes it easier to place bets.
Twenty20
20 overs per side, with the match typically lasting three to three and a half hours. Due to the quick results, Match Winner, Top Run Scorer and Powerplay Runs are the most active markets. BPL and IPL are played in this format.
One Day International (ODI)
50 overs per side, usually seven to eight hours of play. Longer-term markets such as Top Batsman, Century and First Innings Total Runs are more popular for betting.
Test Cricket
A five-day match where a draw is possible. With three outcomes (Team A win, Team B win, Draw), odds management works differently. Markets are reset after each session.

Knowing three common formats makes any betting market easy to understand.
Decimal Format
This format is the most familiar on most platforms across Asia, including Bangladesh. Multiply the odds by your stake to get the total return. Example: odds 2.50, stake ৳1,000 → total return ৳2,500 (profit ৳1,500).
Fractional Format
This format from British tradition shows the ratio of profit to stake. 3/2 means ৳3 profit for every ৳2 staked. Decimal 2.50 = Fractional 3/2. On a ৳1,000 stake, profit is ৳1,500; total return is ৳2,500.
American Format
A plus (+) sign indicates the underdog; a minus (−) sign indicates the favourite. +150 means ৳150 profit on a ৳100 stake. −200 means you need to stake ৳200 to win ৳100 profit.
